DPR Announces New Spray Park Hours and Independence Day Schedule

(WASHINGTON, DC) The DC Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR) announces that beginning Friday, June 30, spray parks will operate from of 9:30 AM to 8:30 PM. Additionally, in observance of the Independence Day holiday all DPR administrative offices, summer camps, recreation/community centers and indoor aquatic facilities will be closed on Tuesday, July 4, 2017. Outdoor aquatic centers will operate from noon to 6 pm on Tuesday, July 4th.

 

DPR PERMITS, FIELDS AND COURTS:

- All synthetic fields, playgrounds, tennis courts, and basketball courts will close at 6 pm.

- The permits office will be closed. All previously permitted events will take place as scheduled.

- Please note that fireworks are NOT allowed on ANY DPR properties, fields, playgrounds, basketball courts or tennis courts.
